⋒ 1 large egg
⋒ 1 tsp vanilla extract
⋒ 1/2 cup chocolate chips (dark chocolate recommended)
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, matcha powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
3. In a separate large bowl, cream together the coconut oil (or butter) and coconut sugar (or maple sugar) until smooth and fluffy.
4. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
5. Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
6. Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
7. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough and roll them into balls. Place them on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them a few inches apart.
